The Little Servants of the Holy Family was founded on Dec. 25th 1943, by Father Pierre Singer(1910~1992) as a member of the Missionary of Paris, becoming the first local Catholic Order in Seoul.
At the time of foundation, Korea still deeply felt the influence of World War II.
While there, Father Singer witnessed numerous orphans, injured soldiers, and the elderly with whom nobody to provide care.
Father Singer established the order to give care to the poor.
Members of the Little Servants of the Holy Family are dispatched to the poor, and we perform the mission of our Lord through compassion.

Father Singer lived as a follower of Jesus, our Lord, by giving love to the poor and those in need.
Although Father Singer passed away in February of 1992, we at the Holy Family Welfare Hospital still follow his spiritual example and give ourselves wholly to those we serve.
Until her death on February 26th, 1992, Father Sung left the life of the incarnation to love the poor, the poor and the small as a spiritual legacy.
