Holy Family Welfare Hospital
In 1962, Holy Family Welfare Hospital expanded as general hospital under Catholic Medical University General Hospital and was not capable of treatments as original foundation had intended. We self-examined ourselves a conversion researcher was dispatched to visit and investigate the local residents. Then we found out that there are many people who are unable to pay for their treatments, therefore end their lives in solitude without anyone who had taken care of them. So general committee of the Little Servants of the Holy Family had decided to make a changeover, so that we ceased any charged treatments by 30th May 1990, and started free treatment targeting those who are suffering from illness and poverty on 23rd July 1990.
Founding mission
The Holy Family Welfare Hospital is a medical welfare institution that pursues the unique spirit of the Little Servants of the Holy Family. It treats and cares for those who suffer from poverty and disease, forming a family, discovering Christ in them, and spreading God's love to many people. was established for this purpose.

Holy Family Welfare Hospital's free food restaurant, which started in April 1998, With your precious support and sincere service, We provide hearty lunches to our poor neighbors in the area. Imitating the love of Christ, who came down to the lowest place and gave himself completely It will be a haven for sharing the good news and hope of the gospel to the poor.

Foundation of the Little Servants of the Holy Family
The Little Servants of the Holy Family was founded on Dec. 25th 1943, by Father Pierre Singer(1910~1992) as a member of the Missionary of Paris, becoming the first local Catholic Order in Seoul. At the time of foundation, Korea still deeply felt the influence of World War II. While there, Father Singer witnessed numerous orphans, injured soldiers, and the elderly with whom nobody to provide care. Father Singer established the order to give care to the poor. Members of the Little Servants of the Holy Family are dispatched to the poor, and we perform the mission of our Lord through compassion.

Priestly Ordination: July 7th, 1935
Dispatched to Korea: November 1st, 1935
Founded the Little Servants of the Holy Family: December 25th, 1943
Father Singer lived as a follower of Jesus, our Lord, by giving love to the poor and those in need. Although Father Singer passed away in February of 1992, we at the Holy Family Welfare Hospital still follow his spiritual example and give ourselves wholly to those we serve. Until her death on February 26th, 1992, Father Sung left the life of the incarnation to love the poor, the poor and the small as a spiritual legacy.
